Psychological support

After an experience of violence, the following support the recovery of the child or young person:

  • Psychoeducation
  • Working together with the child, the young person and the adult taking care of the child or young person
  • Learning coping methods
  • Creating safety and stability.

Support and treatment should be easily accessible and the services should be near the everyday environment of the child or young person and the family.
